What is Opti Coat?
Opti Coat is a ceramic coating with a unique Silica Carbide structure that allows for the best warranties in the industry. The benefits of a ceramic coating are numerous, from the aesthetic appeal, to protecting your paint for years to come.
What does the install process include?
The installation is a 2 day process. Day 1 entails prepping and polishing the vehicle, a meticulous process that gets the paint into its best possible condition before the coating is applied. Day 1 is concluded with the coating application which is allowed to set for 12 hours. The face of the wheels are also coated, however do not fall under warranty. Non-painted surfaces receive Hyper Seal for added protection. The following morning we check for any high spots and correct if need be. A sealant is then applied to protect the coating during its 1 week curing period, allowing you to use and enjoy the vehicle during that time.
What kind of protection can you expect?
To start, full chemical resistance to the entire pH scale. Wheel acid, bird droppings, bug guts, acid rain (all of which are terrible for factory clearcoat) will be repelled and easily removed with no harm to the coating. You will enjoy extreme hydrophobic qualities, with water beading and sheeting right off the surface. Water spots are prevented and the harder surface is more resistant to scratches and swirl marks.

With Opti Coat's professional line of coatings you have a 5 year and 7 year option. The 5 year Pro and 7 year Pro Plus coatings are permanent which means you can enjoy the benefits of the coating well beyond the warranty. If within the lifetime of the warranty you lose any hydrophobic qualities the product will be reapplied by your certified installer.
How does all of this work?
Opti Coat is a Silica Carbide (SiC) coating that cross links with your paint, as opposed to curing on top of it. Most coatings on the market are silica dioxide (Sio2) particles suspended in a resin on top of your paint. This difference is critical in how these products differ. The oxygen in Sio2 causes the product to experience hydrolysis (a chemical breakdown from water) and to deteriorate over time. The SiC based Opti Coat does not suffer from this short coming, allowing for a permanent coating backed by the best warranty in the business.

How is the coating maintained?
Once you receive your vehicle after the application process, you will immediately notice the improved gloss and slickness. Once fully cured, you will enjoy an easier car washing experience. Washing your vehicle regularly is still important for the best results. All vehicles are encouraged to get a once a year decontamination wash to remove embedded debris that may inhibit the qualities of the coating. For DIYers, washing with Optimum No Rinse and Big Red Sponge will give you an extremely satisfying, easy, and quick way to wash your car. For those who prefer a hands off approach, you can schedule maintenance washes with me. If a drive through car wash is a must, touch free options are best!
Does my car qualify?
To qualify for the full warranty your vehicle needs to be a 2020 model year or newer. Vehicles 6-10 years old can be warrantied for 3 years. The reason for this is the clearcoat that the coating bonds to slowly deteriorates over time creating a more pourous surface to bond to. If you have an older vehicle, call me to discuss your paint protection options.

Opti Guard Interior Coating
Opti Guard provides long term protection for all surfaces of your vehicles interior.
Opti Guard Leather creates a hydrophobic coating to protect coated leather and vinyl surfaces from premature aging, cracking and other damage such as color transfer and staining. This coating is manufactured using a hybrid ceramic and acrylic resins that allows a strong, flexible coating for these softer surfaces with complete protection from UV damage. It contains special matting agents to maintain the original factory appearance of the surfaces it is applied to.
Opti-Guard Fabric creates a stain resistant coating to protect fabric seats, carpets and other textile surfaces. When liquids come in contact with Opti-Guard Fabric, the surface repels the substance without penetrating or staining the material. Opti-Guard Fabric forms a strong bond with the fibers to prevent removal during cleaning.

Opti Coat Wheel and Tire Coating
Looking for some durable, long term wheel protection? We use Opti Coat Pro to create a hydrophobic, easy to clean layer that will look great after every wash. Wheels will accumulate brake dusts at a slower rate, and will be much easier to clean when it's time. Opti Coat Pro will increase the gloss of any wheel, really enhancing the look of your ride. While we are at it we apply Optimum Tire Protection and Coating to the tires to provide months of protection and good looks to match the wheels.
